Accessibility Statement
Statement date: 8 October 2026 · Next review: April 2027
1. Our commitment
This statement applies to harvesthawk.co.uk, the website of HarvestHawk AgriSystem Ltd. We want everyone to be able to read about our services and ask for a quote, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are not fully there yet, and the known gaps are listed below.
2. What we have done
- Every link, button and form control shows a visible focus style so you can see where you are when using a keyboard.
- Every meaningful image has alt text, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Films on the site have pause controls, and none play sound without you asking.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animation and scroll effects are switched off.
- Each page gives one address for the base it describes, so the information is not repeated in conflicting places.
- All content is in the HTML itself, not in images or scripts, so every page has a plain text-only reading for screen readers, reader modes and text browsers.
3. Known limitations
- Location pages: on desktop these pages scroll one screen at a time. If you find this difficult, turning on your operating system's reduced-motion setting returns them to ordinary scrolling.
- Orange labels: some orange text labels fall below the AA contrast target. We are adjusting the colour and the fix is in progress.
- Privacy pop-up: the cookie and privacy pop-up is being given a proper dialog role so that screen readers announce it and keyboard focus stays inside it until you make a choice.
- Third-party content: the Farmers Portal at portal.harvesthawk.co.uk, and other services we link to, have their own accessibility statements and are outside the scope of this one.
4. Another format, or report a problem
If you need any of our content in a different format, such as large print, plain text or an accessible PDF, or if you find something on the site you cannot use, please tell us:
Tell us the page address and what went wrong, and which format would suit you. We will respond within five working days.
5. Enforcement
If you are not happy with how we respond, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you on your rights under the Equality Act 2010. You can reach EASS at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
6. About this statement
This statement was prepared on 8 October 2026 and is based on our own review of the site. We will review it again in April 2027, or sooner if the site changes substantially.
