Can drones spray crops in the UK?

Yes, for most of what a farmer needs, today. Fertiliser, biostimulants, seed and detailed crop mapping are all legal right now. The one exception is pesticides, and we are straight about exactly where that line sits.

Our remote pilot is now GVC qualified

"A more cheerful piece of writing than the last one, though I want to be careful not to oversell it." James has passed the GVC, the competency certificate the CAA requires of a remote pilot. It is the baseline rather than the finish line, and the Operational Authorisation is still the bigger job ahead.
