Working with HarvestHawk is simple and straightforward. Here is exactly what happens, from your first enquiry through to the data landing in your portal.
Request a free quote through the site, WhatsApp or a call. Tell us your acreage, what you need doing and any timing. No obligation, ever.
A member of the team calls or messages you back, usually within 24 hours, to understand your fields and what you are trying to achieve.
Before any work, we assess the site: access, hazards, airspace and conditions. Every job gets a full risk assessment, with a clear plan shared with you first.
A clear, set price per acre. No hidden fees, no surprises, and the same fair price for everyone. You decide in your own time.
Happy to go ahead? You get free access to Barley's Farmers Portal, your farm's home for fields, jobs, maps, crop reports, invoices and messages.
Pick a slot that suits your crop and the weather. We plan the GPS flight paths in advance and keep you updated every step of the way.
After the job your coverage maps, statutory spray records, reports and invoice all land in the portal, ready to download, pay and share. And it all stays there for next time.
The first job is just the start. Your Farmers Portal is where we keep working together, season after season, so your fields, your data and your results all build up in one place over time.

Getting started is simple. A few straightforward details from you, and we take care of the rest.
Field names and locations, ideally as what3words references or eastings and northings. We use these to map your fields and load them into your Farmers Portal, so everything is ready before we arrive. If you have them, your best access points for each field are a real help too, so our pilots can get straight to the right spot. Not to worry if not, we can go through all of this together on our first visit.
What you are growing in each field and where you are in the season, for example winter barley drilled in November. This helps us plan the right approach and timing for every job.
The products you use across your fields: fertilisers, biostimulants and, once permitted, plant protection products. Knowing your programme helps us apply the right product at the right rate.
The only thing you need to supply is the product going on your crop, whether that is seed, granules or liquid fertiliser. We bring the water to mix and apply it as standard, carrying up to 1,600 litres. On larger jobs that need more than we can carry, we will simply ask you to provide access to a water source on site so we can refill.
Once the job is done, we ask that you take back the empty product containers and dispose of them correctly, through a licensed waste contractor or your own approved route. In line with PA1 and PA6 requirements, we triple rinse every container before we hand it back, so it is clean and ready.
Not sure about any of this? No problem. We will walk you through it at your free site review.
