Drone spraying, seeding and mapping prices. No surprises.

Every price we charge is on this page. Per-acre rates for the aircraft work, fixed packages for mapping and data, and a free quote for your exact fields. Prices are shown without VAT. HarvestHawk is not currently VAT registered, so nothing is added today; if we register, VAT will be added on top at the standard rate.

Crop mapping

Available now. Each package covers up to 50 acres in one visit, then £3 an acre beyond that. The first 50 acres are a set price whatever the field size, because the flight planning, processing and travel are the same for a small field as a large one.

Drone spraying cost per acre, with spreading and seeding

Priced per acre, so the cost scales with the field and nothing else. You supply the product; we supply the aircraft, the pilot and the records. These services start from late October 2026, once our CAA authorisation is granted.

From late October
£19 per acre
Drone spraying
Liquid fertiliser, foliar feeds and biostimulants. Not plant protection products, which UK law does not yet allow from a drone.
From late October
£18 per acre
Aerial spreading
Granular fertiliser, spread from the air at a set rate.
From late October
£14 per acre
Aerial seeding
Cover crops, grass and wildflower mixes, including into a standing crop or onto ground too wet to travel.
From late October
£25 per acre
Orchard spraying
Post-harvest urea, foliar feeds and nutrition for apples, pears, cider fruit and soft fruit.

Per-acre rates. Your written quote is for your exact fields, and it is the price you pay.

What £19 an acre buys you

A tractor sprayer is cheaper per pass: the NAAC 2026 contracting survey puts crop spraying at £6.87 an acre and liquid fertiliser at £6.82. Here is what the difference pays for, and why the same survey lists drone fertiliser spreading at £18.21 an acre.

No wheelingsTramlines and wheelings take 3 to 4% of a field out of production on a conventional system. The drone leaves none, so every acre you pay for is an acre that grows.
No compaction, no waitingWet ground that would not carry a rig for a fortnight is flyable tomorrow. The spray window is set by the weather, not by whether the field will bear 10 tonnes.
No diesel, no driver, no wearA boom pass burns around 2 litres of diesel a hectare, and a tractor and driver cost £58.63 an hour in the same survey. The aircraft, the pilot and the batteries are all in our price.
Up to 85% less water15 to 30 litres a hectare against 100 to 200 for a boom, so there is no bowser, no filling and no waiting on a water supply.
A record of every passRTK position, rate, date and area logged for every pass and in your Farmers Portal the same week, ready for nutrient management and scheme records.
The going rateNAAC's 2026 survey lists drone fertiliser spreading at £18.21 an acre. Ours is £18, with no travel charge within our 21 counties.

Variable rate prescription maps

A prescription turns a mapping visit into a file your spreader or sprayer terminal applies on its own, putting more where the crop needs it and less where it does not.

What is included, and what is not

IncludedThe aircraft, the pilot, flight planning, a GPS-logged record of every pass, and your results in the Farmers Portal.
You supplyThe product being applied. Rates and timing come from your agronomist or FACTS adviser, and the fertiliser or seed is yours.
VATPrices are shown without VAT. HarvestHawk is not currently VAT registered, so nothing is added today; if we register, VAT will be added on top at the standard rate.
Travel and minimum job sizeNo travel charge within our 21 counties, and a minimum job of £150 rather than a minimum field size. A five-acre orchard pays the same per-acre rate as a five-hundred-acre estate. Outside our counties, travel is quoted up front.
